Fire Star: Step 8: The Final Touch

Caption 1: This Star is certainly on fire at the top.

The result is far fetched as imagined and the turn of a brooding indecisive youngster, now transforms into a confident and smiling Fire Star is quite astounding. Just an upward hook at the side of the lips and the leveling of the then brooding brow and a thick, macho and securely wrapped neck alter the whole feel of the situation and character drawn. This Olympian certainly brings an aspiring irony to the whole process and fruit of this comic demonstration, doesn't it?

Fire Star: Step 7: Hair Accessories to Suggest Character's Occupation

Caption 1: Tape my thoughts.

The filled coloured band across the head actually does bind and curb the unruly hair and brooding emotions of the character. The hair band can suggest some sort of training is taken up in the life of the character. Yet something is missing at this stage; this character has yet to bring out its character. The choice is not to abandon the drawing but just keep sketching and conceptualize t the same time to make this work composed and completed. This is what I always do without fail and in the next and last step, I will mould and polish this figure to be a bright star, for this how I feel about this character; aspiring and motivated.

Fire Star: Step 6: How to Suggest Fire in the Head

Caption 1: My mind in on fire!

The added details on the head adds volume and draws attention to the constrictions the globules create. They as a whole create somewhat of a distress, adding more somber to the feelings the character emits. At the same time, this arrangement also add a lot of vibrance and burst to the figure awaiting to whoose out if there is any catalyst to initiate and hence ignite the latent energy that expresses and dispense the fire in this man.

Fire Star: Step 5: Fiery Hair

Caption 1: Hair raising matters

The choice of this hair starts to change the regular feel to one of dynamism. Things are getting clearer now and it seems that there will be a fresh injection of characteristic to the figure with much spaces to fill in ideas, so think and feel at this point what your artistic adventure will bring you or you want to create this fire star....

In the meantime, keep kicking EPL fans.

Fire Star: Step 4: Face Contour

Caption 1: What is this all about?

At this point, I introduce the face contour and ear and the effect now suggests a male with a brooding expression who is an aristocrat or young, well -fed master. His race can be either a Mongoloid , Negroid or Caucasian in increasing difficulty of sketching development.

Think of how to make this an interesting figure from here.

Fire Star: Step 3: Mouth In

Caption 1: Let my mouth do the talking and viewing .

With the insertion of the mouth, nearer to the chin and protruding a little more to the left than the normal position, interest is added and focus on the mouth. Since you can draw two imaginary lines; one from the eyes to the mouth and another from the centre of the chin to the mouth, the viewer will be drawn to the mouth area. So make sure to make this mouth of the message you want to convey or highlight.

The Fire Star: Step 2

Caption 1: I believe I am a worrisome grown up with no voice.

Next I step into fixing the position of the chin to create more of a caricature to create interest to amplify certain physical parts or emphasize certain message by means of such representation.
So that subtle messages can be brought out in the light intentionally and with amusement.

At this point, there may be the suggestion by the powerful chin and brooding look that this is a man of great responsibilities in a challenging situation.

The Fire Star : Step one

Caption 1: I am quite worried how I will turn out...

As one start out to for a star, things may not seem so clear. And you will have to choose from infinity the set of courses to embark that will mould you to the success.

First I start out with the brow, nose and eye with 2 strokes and a dot. You may want to make this as your own exactly, however, my advice is that you do it naturally, which will be your very own style and develop further to an icon many will recognize and identify with.

The reason for this move is a natural and instinctive one. What this move do is to set the expression in general and in essence the character, mood of the situation or environment.

This character looks like he is in some dismay.
