I like this step very much because of the space left on both side of the face that create a sense of intangible orientation and dimension that is to be completed by the imagination of the viewer's mind. In this sense, everyone will have a very personal participatory response as the individual interacts with this piece all in their mind.
It is also enjoyable to view the body in a posture that is ready to deliver the weapon in a carefree manner, but this figure does emit a sense of alertness and intention to hit the target. The figure can be categorized into the interaction of 4 groups namely humps, angular cups, medium curve lines and short straight lines with spaces in between them. The arrangement is such that they end up with a square block with the center of attraction on the weapons and eyes. The balance is achieved with all the humps in the four directions and the composition is not flat overall with the 3 dimensional effect of the sword. jutting from the inward to outward plane and the arm in the foreground.
